The Sustainable Business Leader Program was launched in 2008 in collaboration with the Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection and the Boston Redevelopment Authority, and has since worked with over 100 businesses across Greater Boston toward becoming environmentally sustainable business leaders. Each business completes SBLP’s rigorous sustainability assessment and receives personalized technical assistance over an approximately six-month period before becoming eligible for the Sustainable Business Leader certification.
